As District Chief Judge, Lelet McGorry’s vision is to ensure a fair and unbiased judging in speech contests by providing comprehensive training, maintaining highest standards of integrity, objectivity and fairness, encouraging fun ways to “practice” judging in regular club meetings, and promoting diversity in the selection of qualified judges.
She was runner-up in the District 83 International Speech (2021) and Humorous Speech (2023) contests. As a Toastmaster for more than 10 years, she continues to appreciate the learning and leadership opportunities in speech contests.
