Margarita Estrada, author, award winning speaker and blogger, is a leadership and presentation expert. She is also a regular contributor to the business social platform, LinkedIn, and her articles have appeared on District 83 Toastmasters newsletter, The Voice.
In 2014, she decided to chronicle the story of her family’s struggles with her father as he started showing signs of dementia. The result was the authorship of her book, Vignettes of a Family Journey, dedicated to those who love, or have loved someone that suffers from dementia. Her workshops involve medical facts, drama and poetry as well as exercises to strengthen the brain.

Margarita Estrada, a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) awardee, is District 83 Toastmasters’ Public Relations Manager (her second time fulfilling this role). In this capacity, she leads the Integrated Communications Team, consisting of 3 Social Media Strategists, Newsletter Team, Webmaster and 2 photographers. Her experience building teams in her many capacities as a Toastmaster lead to the formation of her own company, GANAS Leadership, LLC (www.ganasleadership.com ), based on the philosophy that leadership is both integrative and collaborative.
