Logistics Chair

The Logistics Manager selects meeting locations and organizes the room, ensuring the atmosphere is conducive to successful events, such as business meetings, speech contests, and training. The Logistics Manager sets up necessary equipment, assists District leaders with meeting arrangements, distributes program materials, organizes and keeps track of District property, and addresses disruptions during events. In addition, the Logistics Manager works with the Conference Chair to ensure all equipment is prepared for the conference.

 

Credentials Chair

The Credential Chair manages voting credentials for district council meetings, ensuring quorum and accurate representation. The Credential Chair also creates, launches, and monitors the election ballots using a secure online election platform, currently Election Runner.

 

District Alignment Chair

A Alignment Chair is a person appointed by a district to review and amend the alignment of clubs, areas, and divisions within their boundaries once each year. The process is initiated by the Toastmasters International Board of Directors and may involve modifying district boundaries to redistribute clubs

District Chief Judge

The District Chief Judge oversees the district-level speech contest judging, appointing and briefing judges and functionaries.  This role also serves as a resource to District Leaders for contest planning.

 

District Contest Chair

The District Contest Chair coordinates the district-level speech contests, handling all arrangements including budget management, venue selection, refreshments, and verifying contestant eligibility. This role also serves as a resource to District Leaders for contest planning.

 

District Conference Chair

The District Conference Chair manages the planning and execution of the district conference. This involves managing various aspects of the event, including logistics, contract negotiation, budgeting, program development, and team coordination. 

 

Hospitality Chair

The Hospitality Chair coordinates with the Conference Chair to create a welcoming atmosphere for the conference. Responsibilities include but are not limited to producing the conference program booklet, selecting and procuring conference bag and its contents, setting up decorations, design and staff sign-in table. In addition, the Hospitality Chair will coordinate with the Logistics Chair for the conference venue set-up.

Club Extension Chair

The Club Extension Chair will collaborate with the Club Growth Director to oversee the objectives of the Club Extension Committee and Club Sponsor Committee to maintain quality leads for the District from initial interest to successful charter status. The Chair will also provide guidance of the club sponsor program to ensure that prospective clubs are effectively assisted with the chartering process. Responsibilities include the implementation and oversight of District demo meetings.
