Djuna D. Barnes, MS/ODL, DTM, serves as the Toastmasters District 83 Pathways Chair, where she is dedicated to supporting the district during its transition to the new Pathways Base Camp.
Her goal is to ensure that all club officers are well-versed in the new interface, enabling them to help their club members and enhance their Toastmasters experience.
Additionally, Djuna is the current Co-Chair of the Equitable Toastmasters Employee Resource Group, President of New Heights Toastmasters Club in Jersey City and the Excellent Toastmasters Club in NYC.
Djuna held various district officer roles in both Charlotte, NC, and Jersey City, NJ, including Public Relations Manager, Division Director, and Area Director.
She loves to train and is most proud of leading a TLI plenary session on Subtle Acts of Exclusion in District 83 in 2021.
She earned her Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) designation in 2018.
Her competitive spirit has earned her several Area & Division Humorous and Table Topics Speech Contest victories.
