Working in the Team Environment
Coordinator: Janette Markert Duration: 90 minutes

A workshop designed to help participants hone creative thinking with the objectives of developing strong teams, smoothing problems, sharing schemes, increasing productivity and attaining goals.
Janette will share her 11+ years of Toastmaster experience. She has served most club officer roles, as Area and Division Director, as District Administration Manager, as District Club Realignment Chair, as Conference Co-Chair and is working to complete her second Distinguished Toastmaster award.
Building Your Thinking Power – Mental Flexibility
Coordinator: Molly Brummer Duration: 90 minutes
When: Saturday May 2nd at 9:00 am
This workshop will help you increase your mental flexibility to allow you to adapt to changing situations to achieve the best outcomes. You will learn to become a better listener, sharpen your observation skills, become a more skilled thinker, and ultimately, a more effective problem solver.
Molly credits Toastmasters with providing her the opportunities to grow her abilities as a speaker in a way that allows her to share information and her own voice while connecting with the audience. Molly has been a Toastmaster for 10+ years and is presenting this workshop in working towards Toastmaster’s highest award, the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM).
The Art of Effective Evaluation
Coordinator: Sara Megletti Duration: 90 minutes
When: Saturday May 9th at 9:00 am
Master the fine points of giving and accepting feedback, and you will be a stronger, more confident speaker, evaluator and leader. Learn the tools to provide effective, constructive feedback, become a better listener, and develop your impromptu speaking skills.
Sara has been a Toastmaster for 13 years and has competed as a district level evaluation contestant. With a background as an educator, and in technology sales and training, she has enjoyed helping dozens of club members achieve their goals and credits effective evaluation as the most important part of every Toastmaster's success. Sara is completing this workshop as a requirement for her Distinguished Toastmaster award.
