Happy New Year!
To kick-off the new year, we're excited to invite you to participate in a special Pathways Train-the-Trainer Training on Thursday, January 16th from 6:30-8:30pm at the Chatham Library.
Janice Buffalow, DTM, PDD, Pathways Coordinator will be our lead trainer, with Kimberly Lambert, ACB, ALB, Club Retention Chair and me.
This session is specifically geared towards current coaches and mentors so that you can provide ongoing guidance to the clubs you're working with to help them be successful in their efforts to become distinguished clubs (and for the new clubs to get a solid footing in our new education program).
As a Club Mentor, your role is to help new clubs build a strong foundation and confidence in conducting successful meetings, while building their clubs. The more you can demonstrate and pass on your knowledge to the clubs, the more they'll grow and develop their members, and the more rewarding your experience will be as a mentor.
As a Club Coach, your role is to help struggling clubs achieve Distinguished Status. If you're on the path to achieving your DTM by 6/30/2020, it's essential for the clubs you're coaching to achieve Distinguished Status by then. By shoring up your knowledge of Pathways and then being able to pass the information onto the clubs you're coaching, you'll be better able to boost them towards success on meeting their educational requirements in the Distinguished Club Program (DCP), and meeting your personal goals in achieving your DTM.
Date: January 16, 2020
Time: 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Chatham Library, Lunch Room
214 Main St, Chatham, NJ 07928
If you're not able to attend this live session next week, we plan to repeat this session on Thursday, February 13
, at the same time and location.
If neither of these options work for you, please plan on attending one of the virtual Pathways Q&A Sessions hosted by Janice on 2nd & 4th Wednesdays from 7-8pm. Information about these is available on tm83.org
Please share this invitation with anyone whom you think would be interested in participating in the January 16th or February 13th sessions. While the sessions are geared towards coaches and mentors, we also welcome other Toastmasters who are interested in being able to provide assistance with Pathways to other members.
